COTE DE TEXAS: The Skirted Roundtable – Week Two

The Skirted Roundtable – Week Two

image

We’re back!  Check out the latest meeting of The Skirted Roundtable where this week we are discussing blog topics:   where our topics come from, what we blog about, what we won’t blog about, and what we’re sorry we ever did blog about!  In the Interior Design roundtable, we are discussing trends, specifically – busts, coral, trims, etc.

To hear the show, follow this link to the Skirted Roundtable blog.  Click Here.

As always, thank you so much for listening!  Linda, Megan and I are having so much fun doing the Skirted Roundtable – we hope you have as much fun listening!!!  Each week we will be doing two shows, one on Blogging and the other on Interior Design.    Each topic will be held to a 15 minute limit (hopefully – though this week we talked for almost 30 minutes and had to edit it down!)

As of today – all four topics are now online!

  1. What about scheduling guests too? Editors of magazines, decorators, et cetera.

  2. Hi Joni! Well, I've just listened to The Skirted Roundtable and enjoyed myself - hearing your voice and your whys and so forth of blogging! I am one who appreciates your attention to the details on your postings. I may not read every word on every post, but I will if it's something I'm truly interested in, like your Grey Gardens post. Your pictures are always beautiful! Oh, this was fun. I'll probably have to listen next week too!
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  8. For the record Joni, there are only a couple of design blogs I frequent. And for that reason my only window on Grey Gardens was your piece. I admit I perused an article in Town and Country on Jessica Lange. I look forward to seeing what you will present next.
Thanks so much for being part of my day.

  10. Just finished catching up on listening. Your first mention of it got pushed into older posts by your Gray Gardens post before I read about it so I was behind. Its great to listen and blog surf! Really enjoyed it, and you sound much the way I imagined you might. Will try and keep up. About criticism on line, there is an amplification in everything written on the web, both good and bad. What might be the slightest whimsy in person can read very differently online or in an email. We've all experienced this, and I can see getting wary about it.

  13. That sounds like fun ... gotta listen to that one.

And your post on Grey Gardens was just amazing ... long but really comprehensive and interesting. I had to go back twice to finish reading it because it takes too long to load the images on my computer... but its all worth it. Really one of your best.
