Today, I would like to introduce a new sponsor and a long-time friend of Cote de Texas -
HUFF HARRINGTON!
Huff Harrington recently launched a new web site which features just about everything under the sun: fine art (their specialty) antiques, furniture, jewelry, accessories, and trips to France!
To celebrate this event, Huff Harrington is offering all Cote de Texas readers a 20% percent discount this week only on all items (fine art excepted.) So, be sure to look around their virtual shop to take advantage of this generous discount (more details at the end of this story.)
If you live in Atlanta, you are in luck! There are now two Huff Harrington addresses, a Home Décor shop and a Fine Arts Gallery, to house their growing inventory. For more info, go HERE.
The new web site is user friendly and has a magazine appeal with lots of interesting features. I particularly love this one where Ann Huff and Meg Harrington put together a room of their favorite items – and invite you to “shop the room.” Love everything in this room, Ann & Meg!
Most exciting is each year Huff Harrington hosts several different trips to France, including buying trips to Paris.
There are also painting trips to Provence.
And there are trips that combine shopping in Paris with time spent in Provence.
They have just announced a new trip in 2015 – a week long buying excursion to Paris, tentatively set for Wednesday, September 30th to Tuesday, October 6th. They are busy now, getting ready to announce their 2016 trips.
This fall shopping trip to Paris includes a stay at one of the beautiful Paris Perfect apartments I’ve shown on the blog before.
The Provence trips are spent at Les Murets near the town of Gordes. The charming farmhouse is fully renovated – long time readers may remember a story I wrote about the farmhouse HERE. The house Les Murets is also available for let HERE.
For information on all the trips, go HERE.
If you aren’t going to Paris, visit the Huff Harrington online shop – which is filled with both French antiques and new items.
I picked out a few of Huff-Harrington items that I particularly liked:
Bring the Provence Countryside home with this painting HERE
I love this acrylic, newly acquired by the gallery – “Breathless” HERE
But, their Italian 18th Century paintings, like this antique oil HERE really grab my eye.
French Spectroscope HERE. Not sure exactly this instrument does, but it would look great in a library next to a collection of globes!!
French antique console HERE. This reminds me so much of another rustic console I spied last week. While watching the courageous Bruce Jenner interview on Friday night – my eye kept going to his console and the huge print/map behind it!! Always, design first – I have to embarrassingly say. Did you notice it too?
Here’s a picture of Jenner’s console and the huge print/map behind it. I can’t tell if that is actually a piece of art work or a map? But I kept staring at it during the interview. I love how oversized the print is. Huff Harrington’s console has the same look as this one.
Here are some cute things from the Huff-Harrington online shop that I would choose if I was going on their Parisian shopping excursion:
Stingray Cuff HERE. There are many different varieties of this cuff.
This tunic in blue, so cute! $68 – perfect for shopping in Paris.
Straw Purse $129 HERE to hold your purchases while at the markets.
Love this men’s shirt to wear over leggings for the markets. HERE.
Featherweight Cashmere Scarf in Frost Blue HERE.
And for your Paris trip, how about this fabulous overnight bag? $365 HERE
For Father’s Day or Graduation gifts – I saw the cutest collection of ties and bowties – HERE.
To redeem your discount:
If you order from their web site – be sure to use this code (COTEDETEXAS) effective this week to receive 20% off your next purchase (excludes fine art.)

A big Texas sized welcome and a huge thank you to Huff Harrington!
Next up: Scotland, lassies!!
