It’s that time of year again when I publish the Cote de Texas Christmas List! OK OK - I know it’s not Oprah or Goop’s list but it is our list – tailored to all of you that read the blog! I actually think about this list all year long and jot down ideas in anticipation of the Christmas season. As in previous seasons, I also get ideas from family and friends. Many items I bought personally or know someone who did. There are one or two repeats, but I wish I could do more repeats!!! My taste doesn’t change all that much from year to year.
I love to go back and see what items were the biggest sellers. My first (I think!) Christmas list in 2016 had one runaway hit. It was this feather jacket below!
I was so surprised that this was the best seller! So, for the next year, I looked for as many cute feather jackets as I could find to put on the 2017 list. And of course, while you did buy some feather items, the bloom was off the rose. In fact, today you really can’t even buy a feather jacket anywhere except on Ebay.
I did find this darling purse for those who still love feathers.
The past two years, the most loved gift was Charlotte Tilbury lipstick. This year I added a Charlotte stocking stuffer!!
I hope you enjoy perusing the list as much as I enjoy compiling it! The most exciting thing is that it’s December and that means this annus horribilis is almost over and the vaccine will soon be available. For that, I want to everyone who volunteered to take part in the vaccine trials – including my friend, @KarenlSkolnik!
