COTE DE TEXAS CHRISTMAS LIST #2 –THE 2020 BESTIE LIST!!!!

Finally, today, I am thrilled to post my Bestie Christmas List!!  What has become a tradition around here, first started as a lark. 

While writing my first Christmas list,  one of my best friends had a lot of her own gift ideas, and I thought it would be fun to post my gift ideas and then hers, in a friendly competition.  With each year since, I’ve put out two lists, mine and then my Bestie List, who prefers to remain anonymous though those who know me well, know who she is. 

A “Bestie” can only be someone you have been best friends with since you were 15 years old and fell in like with at first sight.  Don’t we all have one or two of those?

And so, here it is – The Bestie Gift List!  While most items are from her list, I have added a few more ideas of mine too ---- because I just can’t help myself!!!

This bitter orange candle Agraria is such a classic. Bestie and I used to splurge and buy one when we were very young and poor.  We would make the candle last for a year.

I’ve written about our all-time favorite candle a number of times.  Years ago, Kenneth Turner’s Original Scent changed owners and the new owners changed packaging.  Sob. Sob. Sob.  What were they THINKING?!?!?!

Bestie likes diffusers better than candles because she has a cat and cat tails and candles don’t mix well!   This is the most amazing diffuser!   It PLUGS into the wall!!!  You can pick different fragrances.  It does not have to be Nest.  This is a must have for fragrance lovers.

Finally, last year my best friend put this charity on her list and we are repeating it again.  Started by Lauren Bush Lauren, it is based on bags she saw used by the U.N. World Food Programme – when she was still a student.  Lauren started Feed to help children who are starving throughout our world.  Each bag sold is used to buy a specific amount of meals – the number is listed on the bag itself.

This Christmas season alone, over 1,063,295 meals have been donated so far.
