Ben, Elisabeth, and me at the KW Ranch, Chappell Hill, Texas – don’t we look cute? I’m on the left, Ben’s on the right and Lizzy is in the middle – just in case you didn’t recognize us.
The three of us Webbs have left for Ben’s brother and sister-in-law’s ranch in Chappell Hill for Christmas in the Country. It’s always so much fun when Hanukkah and Christmas collide like they do this year. It’s a gift extravaganza for the kids! I schlep the Menorah and candles and my Radco dreidels, given to me by my sister-in-law whose entire Christmas tree is covered with Radco and Old World ornaments.
What’s wrong with this picture? Elisabeth lighting the Hanukkah candles for the night in front of the Christmas tree while her cousins are waiting for Santa Claus! Actually Elisabeth loves the chance to share her holiday with her cousins!!
The Radco-laden tree with just a few of the gifts.
My nephew Wills Webb’s tree is always Mexican inspired – topped with a vintage sombrero!
Some of the gifts.
And more!
And more.
And more! Hmmm – I like those two orange Hermes boxes myself! Tomorrow when the rest of the Webbs come, there will be even more presents!! I told you it was an extravaganza that we swear every year we won’t repeat!!!
Aw, the two besties – my niece Caroline and my daughter Elisabeth – even though there is five years between them, they get along great.
I hope everyone is settled in for the night – wherever you are going! Have a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a wonderful Kwanza or whatever you celebrate! AND most importantly, here’s to a happy and HEALTHY New Year’s!!! More dispatches to come from the KW Ranch – that is, after Santa leaves.
Have the happiest of holidays yourself, Friend! From Pflugerville where we START Christmas tomorrow, I wish you the very best. We head to Katy tomorrow as our "Progression Holiday" begins.
ReplyDeleteMuch love!
Oh wow, I want those two Hermes boxes too!
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays to you and thanks for all of your lovely posts this year.

ReplyDeleteWe're sitting in the hearth room, this Christmas morning, having a cuppa, waiting for our brood to arrive.
Delightful post, wonderful images, gorgeous family! Looking forward to more, from KW Ranch!
Joni, what a great post! Beginning with those adorable mules... I have always loved mules! And that fabulous tree with all the radko (and the sombrero on top! LOL!) and the lighting of the Menorah and the tons and tons of presents! That looks like our Christmases when we were little! I love it! Your precious family, too!
ReplyDeleteWe each had a cousin our age, and it was so much fun to be with them for holidays! Our cousins were boys, but it was still great fun! Love seeing that picture of Elisabeth with your niece Caroline! So sweet!
One of the real blessings this year for me as a neophyte blogger is getting to meet wonderful people like you! You share so much of your talent with us and your love as well. Thank you, friend!

That Elisabeth is a cutie pie!
I can only imagine a wonderful time ... beautiful photos!
ReplyDeletesuch excess as usually seen on your blog.Ugh.
ReplyDeleteBlessed greetings of the season to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see the economic crisis has not affected the Webb clan!! Happy Holidays..
ReplyDeleteOur family used to fill rooms with gifts as well....that all ended when we moved to different states and now have to mail gifts....it would be a fortune and a half to mail...so we are down to gift cards and a few stocking stuffers! As much as we loved it before....it was too overwhelming! If you have been swearing off this every year...someday you will get there! It's hard to cut back...when you love your family, and keep seeing something you think they would enjoy...... and I agree with Jackie, glad to see your family hasn't been hit by the economic crisis! Happy New Year!
ReplyDelete~Cheryl
Oh my goodness........look at all that Christmas gift gorging......Pls do tell us about some of the fabulous gifts given.....and were those scarves in the Hermes box?
ReplyDeleteI wish you the most happiest, wonderfulest, bestest holiday time! Do you think there's a present there for me? lol
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Good to see you are ENJOYING the holidays!
ReplyDeleteWould love to see more pictures of the CH ranch! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteok - I feel awful about showing all those gifts now because it is really misleading! this is actually about four families worth of presents with lots of kids and friends thrown in. plus, most are really not expensive, minus the Hermes tie!!! I actually took these pictures for the benefit of my family to show them the Webb Christmas - they've only heard about it for years. I'm sorry it looks gross - but when you get so many families - ours, my sister in laws, her sister, their mother, my motherinlaw, her sister's mother inlaw - it does add up. But - all their trees were bare. The Nasty anon is getting really tiresome - why don't you just go read another blog?
