Run, don’t walk, over to The Skirted Roundtable to listen to this week’s gabfest where the new topic is “Decorating On a Budget,” which is filled with ideas and tips on how to save money while decorating.  The Blogging topic of the week, “Photography on Blogs,” will be up in the next day or two.

And big news!!!!!!!   I bought a new microphone!!!!  So the sound quality is much better this week – you can really hear my whiney, nasally voice loud and clear now.  Megan is going to get one for the next week.  And,  I loved the anonymous comment on how I pronounce Cote deeee Texas.   Not sure how to pronounce “Cote de Texas” like a French person would, so if anyone knows  - tell me!!!

And even more big news!!!!!    We are now on I-Tunes!!  You can subscribe to The Skirted Roundtable on I-Tunes.  Search for us there!!!

Finally, speaking for my radio partners Megan and Linda, we are having such a blast doing these shows and we hope y’all are enjoying them too.  Thank you so much for listening – I can’t tell you how much your support means to us!!!

  1. New microphone will make a huge change for you.
I have recroding studio at home, few different mics and I was very surprised to learn how many different kinds of mics are there.
One is recording everything even from very far, the other one is recording in good quality only sounds coming from 1-2 m distance. I had no idea there are such differences before I got married :)
    Cheers,

  9. Hi Joni ! I have been reading your blog for a couple of months as I love the photos of great interiors you share with us ! Now, should I say I am French ? living in France ? and it is quite pleasant for me to read your interest in the French style ! As for the pronunciation of Cote de Texas, go to this site and listen to the French pronunciation ( just replace Baleau with Texas) ! This is a great site if you want to hear native pronunciation in many languages ! I hope you will find it very useful !
For my part, I live in Burgundy, in an old stone house dated from the XVIth century, in a very small country village. We settled there just before Christmas and I am in the process of decorating it. I am loving it !!
    Warm regards,
    natalie
