This week we asked our listeners to twitter or email us questions about design and blogging. We were thrilled with your participation – there were lots of really great questions sent it. Thank you!!!!! We spent almost two hours answering them and Linda had quite a time editing it all down. But she persevered – thank you Linda – and actually divided it into two different shows. To listen, go to The Skirted Roundtable here.
As always, your support is much appreciated. More and more of you are listening and the numbers continue to grow. What was once just a little experiment has turned into something that the three of us enormously enjoy doing and feel a big responsibility to. We can’t stress to you how thankful we are to all of you for taking the time and effort to listen to us. And – please continue to send in your ideas, comments, and questions you want us to address on SRT. We read each one and seriously consider every suggestion. And finally - SSSShhhh - We have a real super star guest coming up in the next month or two!!!
Who??? ;-)

Love the painting.
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you ladies...when it comes to painted furniture. Do you like black or white better? I have some items I'm looking to change to either distressed white or distressed black. It's for a condo with a colonial/cottage type feel.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Lauren
First of all, loooovvvee your blog. Beats any magazine I've ever bought. Question....I would love to start at your very first post and read through to the present. I may be crazy, but can't figure it out using your search button??? If you get a minute (ha, ha), could you let us know how to do that. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLoved this podcast. I'm a true believer in making your home beautiful even if don't have a lot of money. This philosophy is what made me start my business. Everyone can have beautiful things around them if you get creative or hire someone to help you room by room. Thanks for the time you spend on this blog. Please know that it benefits so many and is thoroughly enjoyed! LOVE all the pictures!!! You are the diva of all diva's! No need to reply (I know you try to reply to all) just wanted to let you know that the world out here is loving your thoughts and ideas!
ReplyDeleteOMG Speechless..... I love evry one of those houses. But may I say, they are NOT small houses for Los Angeles!! Its true everything is bigger in Texas, huh?
ReplyDeleteI have been doing NOTHING but reading your blog since I discovered it! Love, love it!
ReplyDeleteWhen I grow up, I want to be just like you.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! It just shows what you can do if you wait until you have the money for that special piece, and follow the best designers, instead of filling your space with alot of market model home looking junk!
ReplyDeleteI love your site...just discovered it through my sister-in-law about a month ago. My family and I just moved to Houston (Katy) about three weeks ago and trying to buy new furniture for the family room. Has anyone purchased the Louis VX Bergere Chair and Ottoman that she had on the site on August 13th? Just wondering if they are comfortable or not? Can anyone help me out?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Teresa
